Operating aircraft involves manufacturing, repair and maintenance processes requiring well-trained, skilled professionals to ensure their smooth running and quality. Working with aerospace components manufacturers and aircraft structure suppliers, we offer a range of fascinating assignments in the manufacturing & maintenance of state-of-the-art aircraft and their components.

Depending on the position you’re looking for, you may find it in our Job Board, which has roles in areas such as:

  • Manufacture, assembly and dismantling, repair, inspection and maintenance of aircraft components and assembly units
  • Painting, sealing and stickering of aircraft and helicopter parts
  • Quality control for components and assembly units

Accordingly, in manufacturing & maintenance, you are contributing to the integrity and operation of aircraft.

You’ll receive a permanent employment contract from us but will work in one of our client companies. When an assignment ends, we’ll place you in a new one that suits your qualifications and career expectations.

We offer payment in line with our clients’ collective wage agreements, including special payments and a workplace retirement scheme. On assignment, you have the same rights as the permanent workforce, including entitlements to social security and paid sick leave and vacation. In periods between assignments, you will receive the pay we contractually agree with you.

QUALIFICATIONS

Many manufacturing and maintenance roles are available in the aerospace industry, each with different requirements: We’ve put together a list of common professions and formal entry requirements to give you an overview of potential roles:

MECHANIC

Mechanics should ideally have successfully completed professional training in one of the following areas:

  • Mechanics (aviation, aircraft, engine or process)
  • Maintenance engineering
  • (Automotive) mechatronics technician

Alternatively, in a comparable woodworking or metalworking profession.

ELECTRICIAN

Electricians should ideally have successfully completed professional training in one of the following areas:

  • (Aircraft) electronics
  • Aircraft mechanics
  • (Aircraft) electrics
  • Electrical engineering
  • Mechatronics

Alternatively, in a similar area.

PAINTWORK SPECIALIST

Paintwork specialists should ideally have completed professional training in one of the following areas:

  • Paintwork/varnishing
  • Vehicle paintwork
  • Coatings
  • Process mechanics for coating technology

Alternatively, they should have completed professional training in a craft, such as carpentry with a qualification in paintwork.

PROFESSIONAL SPECIFICATIONS

In addition to professional qualifications and (some initial) professional experience in your desired role, some skills can offer you additional advantages when entering the aviation industry.

Depending on where you work and your specialism, these may include:

  • A confident command of Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Extensive German skills and, at a minimum, basic English skills
