In Hamburg Finkenwerder, become part of the international Airbus-team as an Project Manager (m/w/d) for Industrialization, where you will take on a key responsibility in securing the success of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Industrialization activities. Working in a dynamic, cross-functional setting across several locations in Europe, you will have the distinctive chance to engage with advanced technologies while improving supplier performance and supporting operational excellence. Your primary emphasis will be on supplier delivery performance, quality assurance, and project management.
Your tasks:
- Oversee and support contract execution, making sure suppliers achieve On Quality On Time (OQOT) performance.
- Direct strong control of supplier activities while keeping a solid grasp of their overall capabilities and scope.
- Create recovery, improvement, and development plans to guarantee the smooth delivery of products and services.
- Align stakeholders within Multi-Functional or Divisional Teams to optimize supplier operations.
- Track Supplier Driven Transfer of Work (ToW) and NPI for several suppliers, ensuring compliance with industrial planning.
- Allocate workloads for Transfer of Work activities and NPI while staying adaptable to changing priorities.
- Handle project costs connected to different team members and project tasks.
- Confirm the maturity of Work Packages (WP) before transferring them to the serial Supply Chain Quality Manager (SCQM).
- Work together with suppliers on ToW and NPI projects with lower maturity levels in APQP.
- Travel across Europe (once per month) and possibly to India (once per quarter) to assist with supplier performance and project execution.
Voraussetzungen:
- Degree in Engineering, a Technical Field, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1 year of experience in logistics, 2 years in manufacturing engineering, and 2 years in quality management or supply chain.
- Project management abilities with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems such as SAP and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of Lean Management, Process Management, Risk Management, and Total Quality Management.
- Experience with composite technologies is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally to India.
