As an Process Digitalization Engineer (d/m/w) at Airbus, you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in manufacturing processes at our facilities. From ramping up production rates for the XLR aircraft, supporting transnational projects in MCA and FAL, to ensuring robust support for Quick Response topics in A320, A330, and Aftersales, your contributions will be essential. The role involves implementing cutting-edge digitalization measures, leveraging AI tools, and optimizing processes to ensure efficient operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with international teams across production sites in Toulouse, China, and Mobile, as well as address process challenges through innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling Non-Conformities (NCs) and Design Query Notes (DQNs) in the PSE planning system for electrics.
  • Creating work permits for the Final Assembly Line (FAL) and Major Component Assembly (MCA).
  • Developing and validating operational workflows using TAKSY software.
  • Drafting work plans and ensuring variant validity checks.
  • Providing process optimization support and identifying improvement opportunities in production.

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive candidate with the right mix of qualifications, technical expertise, and practical experience to excel in this role. Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering, production planning, or electrical/electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in using SAP, TAKSY/GESY/TESY, and zamiz software solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to understand and interpret complex processes.
  • Advanced German language skills and intermediate English proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability to shift work, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
